As we worship our risen Lord, we seek to grow in relationship with one another. We stay connected through worship, Bible studies, social events, online activities. We are very much involved in the community supporting the Hillsboro Police, Fire/EMS, Peterborough and Concord Hospitals.  We are strong advocates of the Hillsboro Food Pantry, Hillsboro Senior Services, Town of Hillsboro Welfare offices, Grapevine Association, Meals on Wheels, Feed a Need in conjunction with the Hillsboro/Deering School District. Our people cook and deliver meals to those in need or are grieving.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR

My name is Pastor Paul O’Neil and I welcome you to the Hillsboro United Methodist Church website. We are located at 16 Henniker Street. Our church is located in the heart of the town across the street from Tooky Mills and McDonough’s restaurant/pub.

We are a United Methodist Church that believes in the Bible and we encourage each person to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As people of faith, we strive to share the good news with others for personal salvation. We also have the responsibility as Christians to become the visible hands of God as we do our part in “brining the kingdom” to this part of New Hampshire.

In spring, the days are getting longer and the weather warmer. With that, we see the creation of new life in flowering plants.

In spring, we remembered the new resurrection life of Jesus at Easter. We reflect on what Easter means to us and how we are a new creation in Jesus.

On May 29, we will celebrate Pentecost, a time when the Holy Spirit came upon the early disciples and He continues to be poured out today as we seek to be God's instruments in our world.

May 8, on Mother’s Day, we will celebrate all women who are both physical and spiritual mothers to us.

We will have a celebration of life for one of our church pillars, Isabell Blanchard on May 7.

May 29 is our Memorial Day Service. We will have Representative Jim Creighton of Hillsboro District #38 to help us commemorate the day.

Spring is a time for new beginnings and it is a great time to reflect on having a new beginning spiritually. Maybe you wanted to read your Bible through this year but quite haven’t done it. This would be a good time to start with the Gospels.

May your journey with God have a fresh new beginning this spring.
