My name is Pastor Paul O'Neil and I welcome you to the Hillsboro United Methodist Church website. Our church is located at 16 Henniker Street, Hillsboro, NH, in the heart of town across the street from Tooky Mills and McDonough's pub/restaurants.

We are a United Methodist Church that believes in the Bible and we encourage each person to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As people of faith, we strive to share the good news with others for personal salvation. We also have the responsibility as Christians to become the visible hands of God as we do our part in "bringing the kingdom" to this part of New Hampshire.

Happy 2022!

January is a month of new beginnings.

I realize that it is cold, icy and snowy, but hopefully in your hearts, the love of God is warm and blazing.   My first sermon of the New Year was about Anna in the temple who served God by fasting and praying.  She and Simeon were the ones who recognized the baby Jesus as the Son of God.

On January 16, I will be sharing about Jesus' baptism.  This will be followed by a time of remembering our baptism.   On the 23rd of January, we will see how Jesus' temptations are the same ones that we struggle with.

In 2022, let us resolve to have a stronger walk with the Lord, to include reading through the Bible in a year.  God bless you.
